Nolan Galves will miss the rest of the 2026/27 season after suffering a significant knee injury.
Albion’s Director of Medical, Tony Strudwick, has today provided an update on the French defender.
He said: “Nolan sustained a significant knee injury in the game against Derby early in September.
“Following consultation with a knee specialist he underwent surgery earlier this week, including an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction.
“We expect him to miss the remainder of the 2026/27 season. He will complete his rehabilitation with the football club and we will support him every step of the way. I’m sure everyone will join us in wishing Nolan the best of luck in his recovery.”
Strudwick also explained why Jimmy-Jay Morgan and Callum Styles were not able to meet up with their national teams for the September-October period.
“Jimmy-Jay and Callum have not been involved in any international fixtures and returned to the club this week. They both suffered minor knocks before the break.
“They have each had a period of rest and rehabilitation, and we’re hopeful they will be back in contention for the next match.”
