Shaun Donnellan, Chike Kandi and Adil Nabi on target
ALBION registered an impressive 3-1 victory away at Bolton last night in the Barclays Under-21 Premier League.
Shaun Donnellan handed the Baggies the lead at the County Ground, Leyland, sweeping home Kemar Roofe’s 25th-minute corner.
Albion went straight on the offensive for a second, Liam O’Neil hitting the crossbar from distance, and their reward duly came six minutes after half-time courtesy of Chike Kandi’s well-taken finish.
The Trotters responded immediately through Ryan Sellers but James Shan’s side held strong.
And, with Rees Wedderburn having already struck a post, Adil Nabi added a precious third in the 85th minute.
The result leaves Albion in fourth place in National Division 2, with six points from their opening three matches of the campaign.
