Darren Moore on United victory

"Everybody can share in this result," says Baggies boss.

Darren Moore has dedicated Albion's victory at Old Trafford to "everybody connected with West Bromwich Albion Football Club".

The Baggies put in a performance to remember against Manchester United, with Jay Rodriguez netting the only goal of the game to secure three points - and hand the Premier League title to Pep Guardiola's Manchester City.

A sensational victory for the Baggies - their first in the Premier League since January - had 'Mooro' all smiles as he spoke to WBA TV after the final whistle.

"We're delighted with today, really pleased," he said. "The boys put in a great performance against a very, very good team.

"They did what was asked of them this week; the planning, the preparation, the hard work on the training ground.

"We knew we'd have to do a lot of hard work off the ball and we knew we'd have to use it well when we did have it. I thought we did that.

"There were times where we could have used it better but we passed the ball well and created opportunities from open play. Credit to the players.

"I'm delighted that we've got the three points for everybody connected with the Football Club. Everybody can share in this result."

There was special mention for the goalscorer, too, who put a difficult month off the field well-and-truly behind him with a 72nd-minute winner.

Darren added: "I'm so pleased, as we all are, for Jay. He's put in an excellent performance and the goal was the icing on the cake. It capped off a lovely week for him."
