Kenneth Zohore returned from injury by scoring twice as Albion’s PL2 side beat Swansea City 2-0 at The Hawthorns.
The striker, who was making his first appearance since the start of October, came into the starting XI alongside fellow first-team players Dara O’Shea, Rekeem Harper, Chris Brunt, Kyle Edwards and Ahmed Hegazi - who is also getting back up to speed after surgery in the summer.
The Baggies dominated the early proceedings, with Chris Willock and Zohore both having shots saved and Brunt firing a half-volley wide.
Zohore was then unfortunate not to get on the scoresheet on two separate occasions midway through the first-half - tapping in from close-range twice but looking across to see the assistant referee’s flag up each time.
It remained goalless at the break but Albion's front man came out firing, scoring a header just past the hour mark before netting a low shot into the bottom corner 11 minutes later.
Late on the Baggies went close through Nick Clayton-Phillips and despite not adding to the scoresheet saw the game out in an assured fashion.
