Albion progressed to the Central League Cup knock-out stages with a 100 per cent record by beating Scunthorpe United 2-0 at Birkdale Park on Thursday afternoon.
Two second-half goals either side of the hour mark helped the Baggies past the Irons.
Yusuff Ojebode opened the scoring by slotting in from close range after meeting a drilled cross while Cheikh Diaby headed Albion’s second of the game to secure the win.
