Albion drew 2-2 with Sheffield United in treacherous conditions at The Hawthorns on Sunday afternoon.
Torbjorn Heggem’s header gave the Baggies a deserved lead, yet quickfire goals from Callum O’Hare and Tyrese Campbell 10 minutes ahead of half-time turned it around.
Tom Fellows’ deflected second period strike grabbed the hosts a deserved point, though, and made it 11 games unbeaten.
Carlos Corberán’s men are back home this Wednesday when they host Coventry City.
The boss reinstated Callum Styles and Mikey Johnston to his starting XI - and they began really brightly despite the horrendous weather.
Darnell Furlong’s well-caught volley was bravely blocked inside three minutes - and Johnston saw a drive saved - before the opener arrived via Alex Mowatt’s corner, which Heggem fantastically flicked home.
But two goals in two minutes flipped the contest on its head - as O’Hare poached an equaliser, and moments later Campbell converted Harrison Burrows’ cross for 1-2.
The Baggies were perhaps fortunate not to concede another soon after, Sydie Peck curling over, leaving them only one down at the break.
United started the second period quickly and forced Palmer into a good save to deny Campbell another.
However, Albion stayed in the game and grabbed a leveller through a slice of luck, with Fellows’ shot taking a huge deflection off a United defender and looping in.
They had opportunities to win it, too. Johnston struck a shot wildly off-target inside the box, substitute Uros Racic smashed over, and Furlong flicked a corner just wide, leaving the spoils to be shared in B71.
