Albion are delighted to confirm academy product Fenton Heard has signed a new 12-month contract, with a further year’s option in the club’s favour.

The attacking midfielder, who’s been at Albion since the age of seven, enjoyed a positive 2023/24 campaign.

Heard made his senior debut in Albion’s Emirates FA Cup triumph over Aldershot Town in January 2024, and the 19-year-old also ended the season as the PL2 team’s highest attacking contributor - providing ten goal involvements, including seven goals and three assists, in all competitions.

In addition to Fenton extending his stay at The Hawthorns, Richard Beale’s Under-21 side have also added centre-back Muhamed Diomande to their ranks.

The Italian-born defender has signed a two-year professional deal which will see him continue his development with the Baggies until June 2026.
