Paddy McNair completed 73 minutes of Northern Ireland's 1-0 defeat to Bulgaria in the UEFA Nations League on Sunday evening.
The Baggies man started for his country at the Stadion Hristo Botev in Plovdiv and was replaced inside the final 20 by ex-Albion loanee Callum Marshall.
Kiril Despodov's 40th-minute goal was enough to seal three League C Group 3 points for the hosts.
Northern Ireland sit third in the standings having taken three points from their opening two fixtures.
