Albion's U18 side drew 1-1 with Brighton on Saturday morning at the club's Walsall training ground.
Brighton took the lead from the penalty spot inside the opening seven minutes, but the Baggies hit back with a penalty of their own moments before the interval.
Striker Layton Love stepped up and successfully converted from 12 yards.
Both teams had their chances to find a second in the final 45, but neither could break the deadlock to find a winner.
