Albion’s U18 side suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat at Crystal Palace on Saturday lunchtime.
The Eagles made a flying start and scored after less than two minutes, before going on to double their advantage moments after the half-hour mark.
The Baggies regrouped at the break and managed to pull a goal back through Divine Onyemachi in the 59th minute, however Leigh Downing’s men were unable to find a leveller and left London with nothing to show for their efforts.
