You can support The Albion Foundation in many ways. If you have some spare disposable income and would like to help us continue our important community work you can donate through Paypal and JustGiving.

See below for instructions on ways to fundraise for The Albion Foundation.

Facebook & instagram fundraising campaign

You can now raise funds for the Foundation through Facebook and Instagram. You can start to fundraise in two ways.

• Click here to go to The Albion Foundation Facebook page
• Under the Fundraisers section click ‘Raise Money’
• Fill in the form to confirm the following information
• How much you want to raise
• The currency you want to raise in
• The end of the fundraiser
• The title of the Fundraiser
• Some background information into why you are raising the money
• It will default to an Albion Foundation image but you can change this if you would like
• Click Create

You will then be invited to share your Fundraiser page by inviting friends, sharing to your timeline or groups or to make your own donation to the cause.

If you need to make changes to your fundraising page click the three dots at the top of the page and select Edit Fundraiser or End Fundraiser.

You can also share a fundraiser direct from your own profile

• Start a post on Facebook and in the bottom right corner you’ll see three dots, click on these and more options will appear. Click on Raise Money.
• Or go to your Instagram profile page and click to start a new post from the top right corner. Select Fundraise
• In the search bar type in Albion Foundation and select us from the options.
• Write a status explaining your fundraising, what you are doing, why you are doing it. Tell your followers why you'd like them to support the Albion Foundation.

Share your post and it will appear on your connections’ timeline and on your profile page. People can click the Donate button and select the amount they would like to donate with the option to set whether the donation is made public on facebook or kept private.

When you’re donating to a fundraiser on facebook don’t forget to Gift Aid if you are eligible!

Give as You Live

We have partnered with Give as you Live, the leading platform supporting charities with fundraising through everyday online shopping, with no additional cost to our supporters.

• Fundraising through online shopping Sign up for a free Give as you Live account here and select The Albion Foundation as your nominated charity.
• Browse thousands of online stores and shop through our portal here and each transaction (which won’t cost you a penny more than if going directly to the retailer’s website) and each shop will donate a percentage of your spend with them to The Albion Foundation.

You can also download the free Give as you Live app to shop and raise vital funds for our local community!

Fundraising with your weekly shop

You can also raise funds for The Albion Foundation through your weekly supermarket shop.

All you have to do is purchase a pre-paid gift card which you can use to pay for your shopping and the retailer will pay a donation directly to The Albion Foundation.

The gift card will have the same value that you pay for it so it won’t cost you any more AND will raise vital funds for our local community. On average a £100 weekly shop will earn the charity over £100 per year!

Fundraising and gifting

You can also purchase gift cards from a number of high street retailers as gifts for your loved ones, so when you’re treating friends and family you’ll also be supporting your local community at no additional cost to either of you.

How to use Paypal Giving

• Click here to go to the Albion Foundation’s Paypal Giving page.
• Select the amount you want to donate and tick the box if you are happy for your details to be shared with us so we can thank you personally.
• Log in to your Paypal account or create a new one if you don’t have one already.
• Select the payment method you would like to make the donation with and click Donate.

Raising funds through eBay sales

You’ll save money on listing fees for sold items

• Set up your item to list to sell on eBay and when you get to the Listing Summary page scroll down to “Donate a portion to charity” and switch the toggle to blue.
• Click on Donate to and search for The Albion Foundation in the search bar at the top
• Click on The Albion Foundation and then click Select
• Set the percentage of your final sale price that you would like to donate from 10-100%
• Complete the listing and put your item for sale.

Donate or Fundraise with JustGiving

Our JustGiving profile page provides opportunities to donate directly to or fundraise for The Albion Foundation. You can also view other people’s fundraising campaigns if you would like to support them.

You can easily make one-off or recurring donations to The Albion Foundation using JustGiving.

• Click here to go to The Albion Foundation’s JustGiving page and click Donate.
• Select the amount you would like to donate (a minimum of £2) and whether it is a one-off or monthly donation.
• Tick the box if you want to hide your donation from public view and click Continue.
• Choose your payment method from Instant Bank Transfer, Google Pay, Credit or debit card, or Paypal.
• Complete the payment details and click Continue
• If you are a UK taxpayer tick the box next to Yes, add Gift Aid to increase the value of your donation by 25% at no additional cost to you. Click continue
• If you would like to fundraise for the Foundation you can also run this through JustGiving and click Fundraise for us
• Find the activity you are doing to fundraise and click Start under the relevant one
• Select the event type – i.e. the activity you are undertaking – from the dropdown menu and give your event a name and confirm the date. If you are fundraising in memory of someone you can confirm this here.
• Complete the name of your fundraising page and fill in the remaining details.

How to donate by text message

You can also make a donation to The Albion Foundation via text message. All you need to do is text TAF and the amount you want to donate to 70470, for example TAF10 to donate £10.

Your mobile service provider may charge you for the text message and your donation will come from your PAYG credit or charged to your monthly bill.
