The striker’s first senior goal came in 3-2 victory over Spennymoor Town in the Emirates FA Cup in November 2016.

During his early professional years, Brandon had loan spells with Sutton United and Oxford City. He was with Sutton between November 2018 and January 2019, before spending time with Oxford City from January 2019 until May 2019.

The forward scored 30 goals in total for Salford

Thomas-Asante joined Salford City from Ebbsfleet United in the summer of 2019. He made his debut for the club against Aston Villa’s U21 side in the EFL Trophy and went on to make his first league appearance for the Ammies in a clash with Cheltenham Town at Salford’s Peninsula Stadium in September 2019.

Brandon was part of the Salford City side which secured their first piece of major silverware by beating Portsmouth on penalties at Wembley in the final of the Papa John’s Trophy in March 2021. The game finished 0-0 after 90 minutes and extra-time, meaning penalties were needed to decide the victors. Thomas-Asante scored Salford’s third spot-kick as they recorded a 4-2 triumph in the shootout.

The striker scored 13 goals in 43 appearances in all competitions in 2021/22, finishing the campaign as Salford’s leading marksman. He scored his first career hat-trick during that year, firing in a treble against Scunthorpe United in March.

Brandon has netted five goals already in 2022/23. The striker has scored against Mansfield, Bolton, Crewe (2) and Doncaster.

The 23-year-old used to be in a street dance group and also used to perform as a solo act in his spare time.
