Winger looks forward to Old Trafford trip
SCOTT Sinclair is hoping to cause an upset as he targets his first-ever win at Old Trafford tomorrow (ko 3pm).
The winger has called on Albion to build on last weekend’s 3-0 victory over Sunderland when they return to Barclays Premier League action against champions Manchester United.
The 24-year-old is on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent deal from the Red Devils’ fierce rivals City.
And Sinclair insists there is never a good time to visit United – but remains positive the Baggies can seal their first win at Old Trafford in almost 35 years.
“Coming off the back of the Sunderland game in the Premier League we should be looking forward to getting back to league action,” said Sinclair.
“There is never a good time to play United.
“It is always going to be a hard game, but I’m sure all the boys will be up for it and hopefully we can go there and get a good result.
“I’m sure the United fans will give me stick for being at City - but that’s football for you.
“It’s great for any player to go to Old Trafford.
“It’s exciting to go there to try to show what you’ve got - and it would be nice to cause an upset.
“I think the Premier League has got stronger and anyone can beat anyone.
“I’ve not scored or got a win at Old Trafford but hopefully I can do that this weekend.”
