Baggies will honour wing ace with minute's applause at Stoke game
ALBION will pay tribute to Clive ‘Chippy’ Clark at Sunday’s final Barclays Premier League home fixture of the season with Stoke (ko 3pm).
The wing ace passed away last week, aged 73, and the club will honour him with a minute’s applause shortly before kick-off.
The players will also wear black armbands on the day of the game and the flags at The Hawthorns will fly at half-mast on the day of Clive’s funeral.
There will be a full tribute to Clive in the matchday programme, Albion News.
His funeral will take place at Scarborough Crematorium on Tuesday, May 13, at 12.40pm.
The club have been further saddened by the passing of another former player, Geoff Richards, aged 85.
Geoff played for the Baggies between 1943 and 1952, scoring once in three appearances.
