Reporting To - Stock Control Manager / Assistant Retail Buyer
Role
To assist the Warehouse Co-ordinator to oversee the supply chain process for all of WBA FC retail outlets and to ensure the efficient receipt, storage and transfer of goods.
Place of Work
Normal contracted hours at WBA FC Warehouse, Unit 6a, Summit Crescent, Smethwick, B66 1BT
Other locations as required.
Hours of Work
As per contracted hours over a 7 day week.
Due to the nature of the football industry you may be required to work outside of your contracted hours.

Duties
To ensure the smooth running of the warehouse and its stock by the following:
Participating in the day to day running of the warehouse
Correctly labelling goods which have arrived into the warehouse
Receiving, moving , checking and storing incoming goods
Checking and inspecting goods received and ensuring they are of accurate quantity, type and quality
Report any discrepancies to the Stock Control Manager
Selecting space for storage and arranging for products to be placed in designated areas
Loading and unloading lorries, vans and other vehicles
Maintaining warehouse tools and arranging services and repairs by notifying Warehouse & Stock Co-ordinator
Correctly pick and pack orders for daily deliveries to our stores
Correctly pick orders for Mail Order Department when required
Identify any stock discrepancies with store orders and make necessary amendments
Ensure that all products are packed correctly for transit so all products arrive in store in excellent condition
Moving and organising stock as directed by the Stock Control Manager
Designated to use company vehicle for deliveries to stores, suppliers and any other destinations
To ensure only designated staff members use company vehicle (unless authorised by Head Of Retail)
Ensure company vehicle mileage log is updated at all times without exception
Maintain required standards of Health and Safety in and around the warehouse and office area
Assist with regular stock checks and annual inventories as requested by Stock Control Manager
Ensure no unauthorised staff are allowed to remove stock from the warehouse unless permission is gained from the Stock Control Manager
Other duties may be required within the role of Warehouse Assistant to suit the needs of the business
Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to at all times without exception
Adhere to the current WBA FC Retail standards of presentation and dress
Timekeeping - It is your responsibility to be ready to start your work at your contacted time. Poor timekeeping will not be tolerated
Reporting sickness - Please ensure you contact your line manager as early as possible, preferably before your shift begins

Full Time (37.5 hours p/w)
Must hold a clean Full UK Driving Licence
