Pulis delighted with youngster's progress
SAM Field has committed his long-term future to Albion by signing a new-and-improved four-year contract.
The 18-year-old midfielder, who joined the Baggies at the age of eight and is a lifelong fan, is now contracted to the club until the summer of 2020.
The 2015/16 Academy Player of the Season made his Premier League debut as an 86th-minute substitute in Albion’s 1-1 draw with Liverpool on the final day of last term.
Just two days later he was called up to the England under-18 squad for the two-match tour of South Korea in June.
The Hagley-born youngster signed his first professional contract with the club later that month and has impressed in three more senior appearances for Tony Pulis’ side this season.

He has since gone on to represent England under-19s in friendlies against Bulgaria and Belgium.
Albion Head Coach Tony Pulis said: “Sam is a wonderful talent who has made great progress so far.
“He has a very exciting future and we are all absolutely delighted to see him sign this contract.
“It’s now all about continuing to work hard and develop.”
