All the details ahead of Albion's trip to Vicarage Road
ALBION travel to Vicarage Road on Tuesday looking for their first Premier League 'double' of the season (ko 7.45pm).
The opposition
A narrow 1-0 victory over Sunderland has moved Watford up to 34 points in the Premier League, seven clear of the relegation zone. Although some Hornets fans would have been nervously looking over their shoulder before last weekend's three points, they can now start looking up. Walter Mazzarri's side are just one point away from a top-ten berth. Attention now turns to a clash with the eighth-placed Baggies on Tuesday evening.
Last time out
Albion put three past the Hornets back in December with Chris Brunt, Jonny Evans and Matt Phillips on target.
Matt Phillips bears a grin after scoring Albion's third against Watford at The Hawthorns
Team news
Matt Phillips will face a late fitness test after missing the last five games with a calf problem.
Christian Kabasele, who scored for the Hornets in the reverse fixture, is likely to miss out with a hip injury.
Stats
After picking up just one point from a possible 21 against the top-seven in the Premier League, the Baggies have picked up four out of six in the last two games with victory over Arsenal and a goalless draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Albion's last Premier League 'double' came over Stoke City with 1-0 and 2-1 wins in the 2015/16 season.
From the archive
Ishmael Miller, Kevin Phillips and Martin Albrechtsen gave Albion a resounding victory over top-of-the-table Watford at Vicarage Road in November 2007. The Baggies would go on to win the Championship in May.
Head to head
Albion have won 18, drawn nine and lost 11 games against Watford.
