TONY Pulis has confirmed Gareth McAuley and James Morrison will miss tomorrow’s Premier League opener with AFC Bournemouth as they continue to recover from injury.
McAuley will not be available for Northern Ireland’s World Cup qualifiers against San Marino and Czech Republic in September - but Morrison could be fit for the trip to Burnley on Saturday, August 19.
Pulis said: “Gareth won’t be fit for a couple of weeks, he’s still struggling with his thigh so that’s a problem for us.”
“James will not be available tomorrow but we’re hoping the following week he’ll be okay.”
