ALBION suffered a 4-0 opening day FA Women's Premier League Northern Division defeat away to Huddersfield Town Ladies.
Hattie James had the best chance for the Baggies early on, but it was Huddersfield who went in front thanks to a Charley Evans strike.
That lead was then doubled before the break through Emily Heckler, and it stayed 2-0 to the Terriers at half time.
After the interval a brace from Kate Mallin put the game out of sight for Huddersfield, and ensured a miserable first game of the season for the Baggies.
Next up for Albion is Blackburn Rovers Ladies at home next Sunday.
