Albion host Ipswich in PL Cup on Monday
ALBION's Premier League 2 side are preparing themselves for a crucial game in the PL Cup against Ipswich Town at The Hawthorns on Monday evening (ko 7pm).
The Baggies are currently third in the group on four points, with only the top two sides progressing to the next stage of the tournament.
And with Liverpool leading the pack on ten points ahead of second-placed Huddersfield Town on six, Baggies boss James Shan highlighted the importance of the clash with the Tractor Boys.
"It's a very important game if we want to progress to the next round of the competition," said Shan.
"It'll be nice to get the lads in a familiar environment at The Hawthorns and try to perform in the manner that we want.
"Ipswich are a good side and caused us problems with their attacking shape last time out. But it was a game of two halves and we were a little disappointed in the end not to have won the game.
"Whatever side we put out we'll have to perform better as a team to get the three points."
