Albion and Villa draw 3-3 at Aggborough
Saido Berahino completed 90 minutes and scored twice as Albion's Premier League 2 side came from 2-0 down to draw 3-3 with Aston Villa at Aggborough.
Tahvon Campbell was also on target for the Baggies in an entertaining derby.
In a thrilling first period, the visitors found themselves two goals to the good within the opening 25 minutes with Callum O'Hare and Harry McKirdy on target.
But Campbell finished off a neat move to bring the Baggies back into the game in the 31st minute before Berahino was at the double to give James Shan's men a half-time lead.
The Albion striker got his first after neat work from Andre Wright, and then lashed in a second after finding himself in space in the penalty area.
Tyler Roberts twice went close to extending Albion's lead in the second-half with Berahino inches away from securing his hat-trick.
But Villa had the last laugh in the 82nd minute when Rushian Hepburn-Muprhy converted from the spot after being felled by Max Melbourne.
Skipper Jack Fitzwater was denied by a stunning save in the final minutes as the visitors held on for a precious point in the race for the playoffs.
