JONNY Evans wants Albion to use Saturday’s point at Tottenham Hotspur as a platform to build on ahead of back-to-back home fixtures.
The Baggies host Newcastle United on Tuesday night (ko 8pm) before coming up against Crystal Palace at The Hawthorns on Saturday afternoon (ko 3pm).
The skipper insists his side will take plenty of confidence from their battling 1-1 draw with Spurs.
He said: “Spurs are a very good team.
“Playing at a big stadium like Wembley I thought we did well.
“We gave ourselves a chance to get something from the game, especially getting the goal early on.
“It’s a long time to hang on but I thought our attitude was excellent.
“It’s a big week and there’s a quick turnaround now ahead of the Newcastle game on Tuesday, but I think that will suit us.
“The players will take confidence from today’s result and performance going into these two home games.
“The players will look forward to them and hopefully we will be able to get two positive results.”
