ALBION are hopeful Oliver Burke’s latest injury frustration will not hold him back too much longer.
Burke missed out on inclusion for the Premier League trip to Leicester on Monday night due to fresh concerns about a hamstring injury.
The young Scotland international is waiting to get his Baggies career in full swing after being hampered by an injury suffered during an early run-out for our under-23 side.
He has subsequently played for Scotland U21 but Albion refused to take any chances when the problem reappeared in the build-up to the Leicester game.
It is not thought to be a serious issue, however, and the Club are optimistic this latest delay will not keep him out for a lengthy period.
Meanwhile, Albion have not ruled out either of their senior keepers for this weekend's trip to Southampton.
Ben Foster missed the Foxes clash with a knee injury while his replacement Boaz Myhill completed the 1-1 draw with a slight hamstring strain.
Both will remain under treatment this week and a decision will be taken on their availability closer to matchday.
