GRZEGORZ Krychowiak is enjoying his time at the Albion but says his performances can still improve as he gets to grips with life in the Premier League.
The Poland international signed for the Baggies on a season-long loan from French giants Paris Saint German in August. And 'Grzeg' admits it's taken him a bit of time to adapt physically to the English game.
"The first game I wasn't good enough physically. I didn't do a pre-season with PSG. I didn't play any friendly games.
"Now, after five games with Albion and two with Poland, I feel better. But I know I can still do better.
"The Premier League is different to Spain - you run a lot more! I'm very happy to have the opportunity to discover more about the league.
"I think we can do something important this season."
For the last two weeks Grzeg's focus has been on international football. And he was clearly delighted with his exploits after helping his nation qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
"I'm very happy. It was difficult but the most important thing is that we will be going to the World Cup.
"It was a long campaign but we proved that we deserve to go to Russia."
And a gap in the PL schedule also allowed the swashbuckling midfielder to continue his now infamous travels around the UK.
"When you change country you have an opportunity to discover a new culture.
"When I have a day off I try to travel around and learn new things. But the most important thing is football."
