ALBION'S two game winning run came to an end after a 5-1 defeat away to Nottingham Forest Ladies in the FA Women's Premier League Northern Division on Sunday.
New signings Lara Finn and Jennifer Kikomeko both made their Baggies bows, with the latter being drafted straight into the starting line-up.
Leanne Mitchell gave Albion a perfect start inside two minutes after latching onto a through ball to fire past Bec Thomas into the far corner.
But Greaves equalised for Forest just five minutes later, prodding home from close-range before Parnell slotted past Gardner to give the home side a 2-1 lead at the break.
The Baggies almost drew level immediately after the interval in the space of two minutes. First Buckmire's header from a Mitchell cross was saved by Thomas before Burton's header hit a Forest defender and was scrambled clear.
Albion were made to pay for those missed chances though when Emery capitalised on a mistake to slot home in the 54th minute before substitute Hudson made it 4-1 to the home side just after the hour-mark.
The misery was complete for Louis Sowe's side in the 79th minute when Hazanna Parnell was on hand to head home a looping cross for her second of the game condemning the Baggies to a bad day at the office.
Albion are back on home turf next Sunday, 8th October 2017, when they take on Fylde Ladies in the FA Women's Premier League Northern Division.
