ALBION produced a scintillating performance to beat Wolves 4-2 in the FA Women's Premier League Northern Division on Wednesday.
The Baggies collected their first league win of the campaign to move above their Black Country rivals.
Nicole Dale marked her full debut with a goal just before the half-hour mark with a cooly taken finish before Gina Burton grabbed her first in Baggies colours ten minutes later with a stunning 35-yard strike to send Albion into a two-goal lead.
On the stroke of half-time, both sides were reduced to ten players after a mini scuffle that saw Antonia Smith sent off for the Baggies and Kirstie Bavington for Wolves.
Yet the decision did not seem to affect either side in the Second half and despite the home sides pressure, it was Albion who made it 3-0 in the 76th minute when former Wolves player James was on hand to nod home on the line following a Vincze free-kick.
Wolves reduced the deficit just two minutes later through Robinson's drilled effort before substitute Mitchell's tidy strike restored Albion's three-goal cushion.
Jade Cross gave the hosts a glimmer of hope with a late goal, but the Baggies held on for a richly deserved three points.
Boss Louis Sowe was delighted with the performance.
"I'm really pleased and happy for the girls, because the hard work they have put in the last two months is now starting to pay off.
"I thought we looked really good going forward and hopefully now this is a platform for us to build on."
