Pulis on Albion vision and the Gunners

TONY Pulis believes a new-look Albion can evolve when he has got all of his players fit and available.

Albion’s Head Coach is waiting for some “knocks and niggles” to clear up over the weekend before selecting his squad for Monday night’s live TV clash against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

But in the longer range, Pulis is anticipating a new step in Albion’s progress when a squad strengthened by the addition of six signings during the summer window is fully up and running.

“We’ve got to get everybody fit and when we do, we’ll start looking at what we want to do,” he said.

“I’ve got something in mind that I want to use and I think it will suit the players we’ve got. But I want them all fit first - then we will really be able to nail it down.

“Hopefully, it will evolve into a shape and system that really suits these players.”

Pulis goes to Arsenal knowing that he has “a chalk and cheese” record against the Gunners.

“I’ve got a great record against them at home for whichever clubs I’ve managed in the Premier League - but I must admit the record at their stadium is the opposite,” he said.

“It would be nice to change that. It will be a real, real tough game but the players should take some confidence into it after their performance against Manchester City.”
