TONY Pulis said Albion were unfortunate to lose at the Emirates Stadium where a goal in each half from Alex Lacazette saw Arsenal take all three points.
The Baggies had an early penalty appeal waved away after Shkodran Mustafi felled Jay Rodriguez as he set up a goalscoring opportunity.
Albion went on to create a number of good chances against the Gunners in an opening 45 minutes which saw Pulis' side pick up where they left off against Manchester City.
“We didn’t get the rub of the green in lots of ways tonight,” admitted the Head Coach.
“I think the challenge on Jay is a penalty and a red card.
“We’ve also missed some really good chances.
“We’ve got to start taking these chances that we have been creating.
“We’ve come to Arsenal and taken the game to them in the first half which not many teams will do.
“They’ve been in the game.
“We tired in the second half though and the second goal kills the game.”
