JAMES Shan insists his side will be looking to start their Premier League Cup campaign with a win when they travel to face Aston Villa tonight.
Albion are in Group E alongside this evening's opponents, as well as Sheffield United and Ipswich Town, who they will face home and away over the coming months.
"The main objective is finish in the top two and get out of the group," said James.
"I don’t want to sound like a broken record but we have got a young squad, so it’s going to be a difficult task.
“The games have been coming thick and fast for us at the minute. We’ve got big demands on us, having played on Monday and with a game this Tuesday in the Checkatrade Trophy as well.
"The overall objective for this competition has to be to progress.
“We’ll most definitely have a similar squad to what we did for Monday’s game against Southampton, apart from Alex Palmer who will be serving his suspension.
"Villa have got some quality players so it’ll be a tough game. In the last two or three years we’ve split the honours in terms of results, so I’m hoping we can get one back on them after the game earlier in the season."
The game will be played at Hednesford Town's Keys Park Stadium, kicking off at 7pm.
