THE Albion Foundation's inspirational community work will again be celebrated at The Hawthorns on Saturday.
This weekend's clash against Swansea - our designated 'Foundation Day' - will celebrate the life-changing impact of the charitable arm of our Club.
There's a Foundation-themed Fanzone before kick-off and a VIP experience for pan-disability footballers during the game, with our title-winning WBA Blind team presented to the Baggies faithful on the pitch at half time.
They'll be joined for a deserved ovation by the 'Baggies Bike Challenge' heroes, fresh from their cycle from Swansea to The Hawthorns.
And you'll get another chance to sign up for the 'Blind Dave Colour Run' which enters its second year this summer. The five-kilometre fun run, with Dave's endorsement, will be dedicated to the memory of both Cyrille Regis and Richard Eades.
We want as many fans as possible to run, jog, walk or even crawl the route. So join us in the Fanzone on Saturday to put down your name. You can find out more online.
It promises to be an entertainment-packed celebration of all things Albion. And Foundation Director Rob Lake is looking forward to paying tribute to those who make the organisation so special.
"Saturday is an opportunity to thank all 75 full-time staff, 104 part-time staff, 100+ volunteers, trustees, football club staff and partner organisations for their wonderful contribution this year," he said. "I am honoured and privileged to be leading such an amazing team of people.
"This job gives me immense satisfaction and a sense of perspective on life. As I visit our many projects and see the immense struggles of some of our young people, the difficulties they face it does give me that reality check on our perceived problems and issues.
"We were all shocked and devastated losing Cyrille and Richard and we want to play our part in creating a legacy in their name by encouraging fans to check on their health and well-being and get active by taking part in the fun run."
