KATHRYN Pagan struck a second-half winner to fire Albion into the next round of the Birmingham FA County Cup following a 1-0 victory away at Sutton Coldfield Town Ladies.
The midfielder capped a full debut with her first ever senior goal after stepping up from the Development team - ensuring the Baggies finished 2018 on a high.
A quiet First half saw neither side create any clear-cut opportunities meaning the scores were level going into the break.
Yet it was the Baggies who broke the deadlock twenty-minutes into the Second period when Pagan fired into the roof of the net from close-range.
Louis Sowe’s side continued to dominate but despite failing to find a second goal held on for the victory and a sixth clean-sheet of the season.
Albion are next in action away to Sporting Khalsa Women in the Third Round of the FA Women’s National League Plate on Sunday, 6th January 2019 (ko 2pm).
