ALBION will head for a mid-winter training camp this week to aid their preparations for the FA Cup and Premier League challenges ahead.
The Baggies fly to Barcelona on Tuesday where they will spend three days training at Ciutat Esportiva Dani Jarque, the training camp of La Liga outfit Espanyol.
The team will then return on Friday to finish their preparations for the FA Cup fifth round tie against Southampton at The Hawthorns.
With the Met Office warning of another week of snow, rain and high winds, Head Coach Alan Pardew is hoping quality training conditions and a change in routine will be productive for his players.
"It's something I have always done and always found very beneficial," explained Alan, who has arranged the trip through his friendship with former Watford manager and current Espanyol boss Enrique Sanchez Flores.
"We're looking forward to changing the schedule and getting some freshness into the group for the run-in.
"The facilities are excellent and there is an opportunity to get in some quality training time with the players. Tottenham went there a few weeks ago and have had a very good run since returning."
