FANS can now leave written tributes to Cyrille Regis in a Book of Remembrance at The Hawthorns which has been opened by his widow Julia.
The book is situated in the reception area of the East Stand and was formally opened on Monday evening by Julia and members of the Regis family.
Julia said: “The messages of support we have received from Cyrille’s fans has been a huge comfort to the family and we will look forward to reading their messages.
“Cyrille was always so appreciative of all the support he received throughout his career and we have all taken strength from the outpouring of love for him.”
Julia, along with Cyrille’s son Robert and daughter Michelle, was at The Hawthorns yesterday to leave the first entries.
Supporters and the general public will be able to add their own messages from 8am on Tuesday, January 23.
