ALBION's under-18s boss Jamie Smith says his side are excited to face Chelsea in the FA Youth Cup fourth round on Wednesday night (ko 7pm)
The Baggies beat Leyton Orient 4-0 in the last round before Christmas to set up the tie at Aldershot's EBB Stadium.
“We’ve watched Chelsea a number of times and obviously they have some good players,” said Smith.
“But you want to play against the top teams and take on challenges like this one.
“We had a good confidence boost on the weekend by winning 5-2 against Wolves. It was nice to score some goals and we played well, but there’s still plenty for us to work on.
“There’s now a lot of excitement around the Chelsea match and the fact that the FA Youth Cup is such a big tournament.
“The game will be a good test for us so we’re really looking forward to it.”
The winners will play either AFC Bournemouth or Tottenham Hotspur in the fifth round.
