OUR fixtures for the 2018/19 season have been published. Here are the key dates for your diary.
Saturday, August 4 - Bolton Wanderers (H)
Darren Moore's men kick-off the new season in front of a raucous Hawthorns crowd. From Bournemouth to Bolton, it's an opening-day fixture for the second year running. The Trotters survived by the skin of their teeth last campaign. The Baggies will be looking to get off to a flier.
Tuesday, August 7 - Nottingham Forest (A)
The first away day for the Albion faithful is a trip to the City Ground. And it's a clash under the lights. If you think it's a bit early for a night game, it is. We'll face Forest two weeks early owing to England's Test Match at Trent Bridge between Saturday, August 18 and Wednesday, August 22. The game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
Saturday, September 15 - Birmingham City (A)
Our first derby game of the season sees us travel to St Andrew's. Well, St Andrew's Trillion Trophy Stadium. It's been three years since our last visit to Blues - a 2-1 FA Cup victory in January 2015. And we did the double over them in our promotion season of 2001/02. More of the same, please!
Saturday, December 8 - Aston Villa (H)
The one you've been waiting for. Villa at home. Our rivalry with the Villans is renewed in early December. We haven't lost to the Villa since March 2015. Mind you, we haven't had to play them much. If you're keen for a Villa Park away day, you'll have to wait for Saturday, February 16.
Saturday, December 22 - Rotherham United (A)
An odd one to pick out, you might think. But Rotherham away marks the halfway point of the 2018/19 season. After 23 games, we'll have an idea of what to expect - and what we want to achieve - in the 23 to come. Oh, and we've only ever played the Millers six times. It should be a popular trip.
Wednesday, December 26 - Wigan Athletic (H)
Relief. You won't have to travel on Boxing Day. We host newly-promoted Wigan Athletic on December 26. There's also a home clash on December 29 against Sheffield Wednesday. You can afford to get comfy over Christmas.
Tuesday, January 1 - Blackburn Rovers (A)
We're up against former gaffer Tony Mowbray on New Year's Day. He led Rovers to League One promotion last campaign. There's also a reunion for Darren Moore, who makes his return to Ewood Park after a spell as First-Team Coach. You may remember our last visit to Blackburn - Peter Odemwingie struck an 89th-minute winner.
Saturday, January 26 - Queens Park Rangers (A)
There are fond memories of Loftus Road for every Albion fan. A trademark Chris Brunt corner saw us secure the Championship title there and celebrate our return to the big time in 2008. January's a little early to be lifting the trophy this time around, but three points wouldn't go amiss.
Saturday, March 2 - Leeds United (A)
A fixture steeped in history, Albion at Leeds is a game we can all look forward to. It's been over a decade since our most recent visit to Elland Road. And you have to go back to 1988 for a defeat. With fifteen goals in the last three meetings between the sides, there's never a dull moment.
Saturday, April 27 - Rotherham United (H)
Our Hawthorns curtain-call comes against Rotherham. Remember Jordao's crucial winner for Gary Megson's side in April 2002? No? That's because it didn't count. We all know it crossed the line, though.
Sunday, May 5 - Derby County (A)
Darren Moore versus Frank Lampard. Our 2018/19 season comes to an end at Pride Park. Who knows where we'll be come May, but it's certainly a fixture to savour. Come on you Baggies!
