ALAN Pardew has confirmed Jonny Evans’ availability for Albion’s Premier League trip to AFC Bournemouth on Saturday (ko 3pm).
The Baggies skipper missed last weekend’s defeat to Leicester City at The Hawthorns through illness.
Evans, however, has trained all week and could be recalled for the clash with the Cherries at the Vitality Stadium.
Gareth Barry, who has been struggling with a knee injury, will not travel to the south coast.
Attacking duo Nacer Chadli and Daniel Sturridge are set to return to training next week.
Chadli has not featured since Albion’s defeat at Stoke City on December 23, while Sturridge last appeared for the Baggies on February 12 at Chelsea.
“Jonny Evans is back and has trained well all week,” said Pardew.
“Gareth Barry isn’t going to make it and James Morrison is still struggling with his Achilles injury.
“Daniel Sturridge and Nacer Chadli will train next week so we have had some good news on that front.”
