CHRIS Brunt says confidence and momentum has finally arrived in Albion’s dressing room even if the odds remain stacked against his side in their Premier League survival battle.
The Baggies tackle Tottenham with their fate once again out of their hands and knowing they can only focus on beating their Champions League-chasing opponents to keep their hopes alive.
But as The Hawthorns prepares for its final game of the season, the Albion faithful should at least be watching a home side attacking the challenge with conviction.
“The last few weeks have been pretty good,” he said.
“Momentum is everything in football and for long periods this season, we just haven’t had any.
“But at the moment, we have got a bit of confidence back and we’ve been working hard this week on what we want to do to try to beat Spurs.
“With the squad we’ve got, ‘Mooro’ hasn’t made too many changes and obviously things don’t look great - but at least we’ve given ourselves a tiny chance.
“People had us written off a few weeks ago but to still be in with a shout with a couple of games to go is a credit to him and all the staff.
“When it’s out of your hands you’re just hoping and praying things go your way.
“We’ve got the ‘easy’ task of beating Spurs as well. Everything is against you but we can only effect what we can do."
