DARREN Moore has been named the Barclays Manager of the Month after overseeing Albion’s unbeaten Premier League run in April.
The Baggies beat Manchester United and Newcastle on the road and recorded home draws against Swansea and Liverpool to collect eight points. All of this before beginning May with Saturday’s dramatic 1-0 win over Tottenham at The Hawthorns - a result which took Albion off the foot of the table for the first time since January.

“I’m delighted, it has been a wonderful joint effort by everyone here,” said Moore.
“I stand here to collect the award but, as I’ve said before, it has been a joint effort by everyone at West Bromwich Albion Football Club.
“There has been unity here between all the departments of the club and together that has helped the players put the performances together on the pitch.
“Everyone knows my connection with the football club, I know everybody and everybody knows me. Together we’re working and it’s been good to see the transition over the past four or five weeks and long may that continue.”
Moore was selected by a combination of votes from a panel of experts and the public, beating five other contenders: Sam Allardyce (Everton), Pep Guardiola (Manchester City), Roy Hodgson (Crystal Palace) and Jose Mourinho (Manchester United).
