FIRST-Team talent secured our under-23 side's place in the next round of the Birmingham Senior Cup after a 3-0 win at Rushall Olympic.
Oliver Burke and Jonathan Leko struck in the second half before young frontman Callum Morton put the result beyond doubt with a late penalty.
In an evenly-contested cup tie, it was Leko who broke the deadlock in the 46th minute with a curling effort.
Burke then added a second 20 minutes later, catching the Pics cold after a quick throw in to extended the Baggies' advantage.
The hosts rallied but Morton secured safe passage to the next round of the competition, slotting home from the spot after Leko was felled in the area late on.
Victory means Albion boast a five-game winning streak as they prepare for Monday night's derby against Aston Villa at Aggborough.
