'Blind Dave' Heeley provided an 'eye opening' experience for hundreds of diners as he held a Dinner in the Dark event in aid of The Albion Foundation.
Blindfolded guests spent a few hours in Dave's world, navigating their way through a three-course meal in darkness.
"Hopefully it was a fantastic experience for the diners," said Dave.
Money raised from the event has gone towards the Foundation's Great Wall of China challenge.
A Foundation ambassador, Dave is part of the team taking on the endurance test.
"The Albion Foundation is just a fabulous charity, which promotes confidence, independence and it just helps people and that's wonderful to be a part of," he explained.
Friends, family and footballers took part in the experience, including Albion's Chris Brunt.
"It just gives you that bit of insight into how some other people deal with things on a daily basis," said Chris.
"It was difficult to go through an evening in Dave's shoes."
