Open trial places are now open to be a part of The Albion Foundation’s PDA Under-12s side.
For the first time, the charity's Player Development Academy is expanding to allow children who qualify as under-12s to continue to access the charity's coaching and games programme.
A squad of 14 is to be assembled to play in the Junior Premier League.
The side will play at least 24 games a season against teams regionally and also take part in a national cup competition.
The new setup aims to bridge the gap between grassroots football and academies, providing a stepping stone through to post-16 programmes, Talent ID and Albion's Academy for those appropriate.
Games-based trials will be held in May and will only apply to current Year Six pupils.
Successful trialists will require to pay a monthly fee of £35 will be required from all players to cover matchday fees, training fees and playing kit.
