Pacey 21-year-old winger Chris Willock joined up with Slaven Bilic’s squad for the 2019/20 campaign after signing a season-long loan deal from Portuguese giants Benfica.
Chris, from Waltham Forest, London, came through the Gunners Academy and reached the first team, making his debut as a 16-year-old in a Carabao Cup tie against Nottingham Forest.
But in June 2017, Willock made the switch from London to Lisbon and agreed a five-year contract with Benfica.
The exciting youngster is yet to make his Benfica debut, however, he has made over 60 appearances for Benfica B over the last two seasons.
Chris has two brothers who also play professional football. Joe plays for Arsenal and Matthew has signed for Gillingham after leaving Manchester United.
Willock, who has been capped by England at Under-16 through to Under-20 level, provides flair and creativity in forward areas and will be another strong option for Bilic to have in attack.
