The points were shared on an afternoon of penalties at Pride Park as Albion drew 1-1 with Derby County.
Martyn Waghorn put the home side ahead from 12-yards after he was fouled by Kieran Gibbs in the opening six minutes, but he couldn’t repeat the feat just before half-time when Sam Johnstone superbly saved his controversial second spot-kick.
Instead it was Kenneth Zohore, in a repeat of Wednesday night, who scored the third penalty of the day late on to ensure the Baggies left Derbyshire with a point.
It’s the fourth time in five games Albion have come from behind to pick something up, with the result maintaining their unbeaten league start to the 2019/20 campaign.
Slaven Bilić made three changes to the team that drew with Reading in midweek as Nathan Ferguson, Kyle Edwards and Zohore - who netted against the Royals - all came into the line-up.
But his side were behind very early on, Waghorn winning a penalty and then stepping up to give Derby the lead.
The Baggies tried to put their disappointment behind them quickly and created opportunities to get themselves back into the game. Edwards saw an effort go into the side-netting, as did Darnell Furlong, and Ferguson also went close when his low shot after a gut-busting run was saved well by Kelle Roos.
The goal wouldn't come, though, and just before half-time the home side very nearly doubled their advantage. County were given a contentious spot-kick, Filip Krovinović judged to have handled by referee Gavin Ward, but Johnstone came to the rescue to keep out Waghorn.
After the break both teams had chances but neither could find the back of the net. Krovinović twice fired over for Albion as they came out fighting, and down the other end Johnstone did brilliantly to deny Jack Marriott and Waghorn.
Bilić’s men kept pushing as time started to run out and they were finally rewarded when substitute Grady Diangana was brought down inside the box, resulting in another late penalty.
And just as he did on Wednesday night, Zohore made no mistake - sending Roos the wrong way to earn the Baggies a share of the spoils.
