Yuning Zhang has today severed his links with Albion to join Chinese Super League club Beijing Sinobo Guoan.
Zhang was signed by Albion for an undisclosed sum in July 2017 and has subsequently spent seasons on loan to Bundesliga club Werder Bremen and then Dutch Eredivisie club AC Den Haag.
The 22-year-old striker failed to make a first team appearance at Bremen but after scoring five goals in pre-season for Den Haag he left to play in the Asian Games with the China Olympic team.
Injury then dented his progress and he was eventually restricted to six appearances as a substitute for the Dutch club.
Albion have now accepted an undisclosed offer from the Beijing club for Zhang to return to Chinese football and the Club would like to wish him well in his future career.
