Rico Richards has added his name to the growing list of young Academy starlets making their name at international age group level.
The 15-year-old, who has already represented Albion's Under-18s, delighted Academy Manager Mark Harrison with his recent performances for England Under-16s at the Aegean Cup.
Richards netted once and claimed three assists for the Young Lions as they picked up the bronze medal in Turkey.
It keeps the good news coming for our Academy which has seen Rekeem Harper and Sam Field making first team strides, the Under-18s producing FA Youth Cup progress and some notable results and form from our Under-23s.
Now Harrison is delighted to note Rico’s advances with the England group.
“We were very pleased to see Rico’s success away with England,” said Mark.
“He’s been with us since he was eight and has worked his way up the ladder.
“He likes to play in the number 10 role, but he can also play wide like he did in this tournament.
“He now needs to keep working hard to continue developing his game.”
