Two more Albion favourites will return to The Hawthorns on Wednesday to receive their special caps during the half-time interval our game against Swansea City (ko 8pm).
Marc-Antoine Fortune (cap 824) had two spells at The Hawthorns, the first under Tony Mowbray between January and May 2009 as Albion suffered relegation from the Premier League.
Following a year away at Celtic, he returned in August 2010 and served under Roberto di Matteo, Roy Hodgson and Steve Clarke as the Baggies established themselves in the Premier League. He made 88 appearances, scoring 14 goals.
Gary Hackett (cap 623) is a lifelong fan who had the chance to play for the Albion after joining from Stoke City in March 1990.
Injury hampered his progress across his three and a half years here, but he played his part in Ossie Ardiles’ promotion winning side of 1992/93.
In total, he played 51 games and scored four goals before moving to Peterborough United in September 1993.
