Albion were knocked out of the FA Women’s National League Plate at the semi-final stage after a 1-0 defeat to Gillingham Ladies.
A brave and dominating performance from the Baggies sadly saw the unbeaten run in all competitions come to an end after the narrow loss in East London.
Gabbie Reid and Keeley Davies both went close for Louis Sowe’s side in the first-half, but Albion found themselves a goal down soon after the break when Chloe Fowler netted for The Gills - and it stayed that way until the referee brought an end to the game.
The Baggies now turn their attention to next weekend as the girls face Sporting Khalsa on home soil to extend their unbeaten run in the league.
