Albion Women have signed experienced central midfielder, Tash Tezgel, from Stoke City Women.
The 28-year-old joins the Baggies having spent 10 years at the Potters and will add depth to Louis Sowe’s midfield department.
Tezgel has made 10 appearances so far this season, finding the back of the net on one occasion.
The move to the West Midlands is one that the midfielder is looking forward to.
“I’m excited for the new challenge. It’s difficult to come from a club that you’ve been at for 10 years and grown up there, but I’m really relishing the opportunity here,” Tezgel said.
“It’s about looking forward now and looking to where us as a Club can go and myself personally too.
“The ideas that Louis has put across and the way he’s spoken about the Club, it’s somewhere that I’m really looking forward to being a part of.
“The girls have been really welcoming and made it easy for me to be myself and express myself in the way that I want to do here,” she added.
“All anyone wants to do is play football and I’m really looking forward to putting the shirt on and I can’t wait to get out there on a Sunday sometime soon,” she said.
Tezgel has already joined up with the squad ahead of this weekend’s National League Northern Premier trip to Fylde.
