Albion Women have signed defender Emily Owen from Derby County Ladies.
The 25-year-old rejoins the Baggies having spent two years in the West Midlands from 2011-2013.
Owen then went on to represent Aston Villa, Sheffield FC, Stoke City and most recently Derby County before heading back to Albion.
And when speaking on her return, the defender says she cannot wait to get started.
“I’m absolutely buzzing to come back to where I used to play,” Owen said.
“It’s grown since I first started here, the facilities are excellent and the staff are just as good as well.
“The girls are lovely, I know some of them from throughout my career and they know when to have a laugh and when to be serious so it’s a really good balance,” she said.
Joining part way through the season, Owen explains her decision to join the Baggies.
“It’s difficult because you make that decision at the start of the season to go somewhere.
“I spoke to Louis and he was honest with me from the start, told me to take a chance and here I am.
“Putting the shirt on to play for a club that you’ve wanted to play for is always good.
“I can’t wait to work hard and put that shirt on,” Owen added.
Owen has joined the squad ready for Sunday's Second Round Women's FA Cup tie with Lincoln City at Walsall Wood.
