The Albion Foundation has been presented with an extremely generous donation of £26,000 from partners, Concept Flooring Supplies.
The figure comes as a result of the fundraising that the company has undertaken over the past year, which includes the Foundation’s Great Wall of China walk, the company’s annual Charity Gala Balls in 2018 and 2019 and a direct donation to the Foundation’s Minibus campaign.
On top of this, the company also supplied over £2000 of flooring for the Foundation’s Community Sports Hall, free of charge.
Former Albion players, Paul Raven and Daryl Burgess were on hand to help present the cheque at Albion’s home fixture with Bristol City on Wednesday.
The Foundation’s Director, Rob Lake, is thankful for the outstanding support from Concept Flooring.
“We’re hugely grateful to Concept Flooring Supplies for their extremely generous donation from events they have done throughout the past year,” said Rob.
“We are lucky to have such fantastic partners who buy into what we do as a Foundation and Concept Flooring Supplies are a shining example of that.
“The funds will go towards our Disability Minibus campaign, as well as contributing to the wide-reaching work we do in the community,” he said.
Helping the Foundation is something the company is proud to do, said Andy Riley of Concept Flooring Supplies.
“Before we got involved with the Foundation we’d raised money for various charities, however after finding out more about the fantastic work they do, we have made them our number one charity,” said Andy.
“We are proud to support the Foundation to help to make a real, measurable difference in the community and we are looking forward to making more substantial funds for them in the future,” he said.
The Albion Foundation would like to thank Andy Riley and everyone associated with Concept Flooring Supplies for their fantastic support and fundraising.
